Project: Service and diagnostic supportFocus: Reduced cleaning performanceApproach: Fault finding before parts replacement

The challenge

The machine was operational, but the customer was no longer confident that it was delivering the same cleaning performance. That can be difficult to diagnose because the visible symptom may come from the ultrasonic system, heating, electrics, tank condition, loading practice or several issues acting together.

The UTS approach

UTS treats this type of problem as a diagnostic exercise rather than automatically recommending replacement equipment.

  • Review the reported cleaning symptoms and recent changes
  • Check generator output and ultrasonic operation
  • Inspect transducers, cabling and electrical condition
  • Check heating and basic process conditions
  • Inspect the tank for leaks, damage or signs of deterioration
  • Separate equipment faults from process or loading problems

The result

The customer receives a clearer picture of what is actually limiting performance and can make a repair decision based on the condition of the equipment rather than guesswork. Where repair is practical, the aim is to recover useful service life without replacing sound equipment unnecessarily.

What this avoids

A structured diagnosis helps avoid replacing generators, transducers or tanks simply because they are the most visible components. It also reduces the risk of treating a chemistry, heating or loading issue as an ultrasonic hardware failure.

The aim is a practical repair scope based on evidence and equipment condition.
